At AraMedica, we proudly offer the ARTAS® iX robotic hair transplant system, the latest innovation in hair restoration. This advanced robotic technology combines artificial intelligence (AI) and precision robotics to deliver superior accuracy and natural-looking results. The ARTAS® iX system revolutionizes hair transplantation by automating key aspects of the procedure, minimizing human error and enhancing the overall outcome.
The ARTAS® iX system creates a 3D model of your scalp to guide the precise extraction and placement of hair follicles. Each follicle is selected based on its size, shape, and growth direction, ensuring that your new hairline looks natural and blends seamlessly with your existing hair. The robotic arm is capable of performing the extraction and implantation with unprecedented precision, making it an excellent option for those seeking the latest in hair restoration technology. AraMedica is the only clinic in Europe to have this latest version of robot Artas® iX.

Recovery from an ARTAS® iX robotic hair transplant at AraMedica is swift and easy. Most patients return to their daily routine within two weeks. After the procedure, a light gauze dressing will be applied to the donor area, which will be removed the next day. The tiny extraction sites heal quickly, often becoming unnoticeable within a few days.
In the recipient area, minor crusting or scabbing may occur for about a week. Mild swelling is possible in the grafted region but generally subsides within 3-5 days. Most patients take a few days off work but can resume light activities like using a phone or computer the day after surgery. Visible signs such as swelling or redness typically fade within a week, and light exercise for example walking can be resumed after 15 days, swimming after 1 month. It’s important to avoid strenuous activities or swimming for 1 month to ensure proper healing.
The length of an ARTAS® iX robotic hair transplant at AraMedica varies depending on the number of grafts needed, typically lasting between 4 to 7 hours. For a standard session of around 2,000 follicular units, the procedure can take up to 6 hours. The ARTAS® iX system ensures comfort and precision, allowing for a relaxing and efficient procedure. You’ll have access to entertainment options such as music or shows, and we provide snacks and breaks to ensure your comfort throughout.
